short Residency program/project

SOU.L / map the city is a short-term residency including mentored workshops which deals with sound as an instrument for contemporary art installation.

The 5 selected artists will take part in two months participation including a one-week long in-person workshop located in arthereistanbul sound lab, in Kadikoy-Istanbul, consisting of tutorials, discussion sessions, and networking activities amongst the participants and workshop leaders who are professionals in the sound art and technology sector.

This first phase of the Sou.L workshop will culminate in a public presentation of the participants’ projects in Aberdeen University /UK and arthereistanbul / Turkey.

Through the workshops and discussionI we explore the “Futures of Listening”.
