Eva Van Aken

Eva van Aken (°1998, Lommel) is a visual artist who is dedicated to documentary photography and moving images.

She studies Visual Arts Photography at LUCA School of Arts Campus C-mine Genk, where she researches her idea of imaging and wants to expand and experiment with different media.

Her work usually starts from a fascination or observation. She uses her surroundings and the outside world as a work field. She constantly observes her surroundings, consciously looking and wanting to look. She explores her position between herself as an outsider and other people.
