Chris Bury is an emerging artist and arts worker. His paintings explore the complexities of psychological relationships to the environment. His work currently focuses on notions of disassociation, solitude and isolation and describes how these are common conditions of post-contemporary life.

in 2019, Chris completed his Fine Arts Degree at UTAS, followed by an artist residency in Mexico City. He co-founded and is the acting chair at Good Grief ARI, a non-profit organization that houses a professional gallery,14 artist studios, and project space.
