About the event
Join visiting Canadian artist Julie A Bell Saturday, October 18th for an Artist Trading Card Workshop. Artist Trading Cards are small works of art artists trade across the world. 🌎🌏🌍
The cards you make will return to Canada with Julie at the end of her artist residency in Istanbul. In return, you can choose from a number of cards Julie has brought made by Canadian artists in her home region to take home with you.
Julie will teach techniques of mixed media collage while you work on your cards. Collage is the art of using cut and torn paper from magazines, maps, photos and other interesting papers to create an image. The technique is fun and easy even if you don't have prior art experience. If you wish to bring papers or old magazines to work with, they are welcome.
