Classical Oriental Concert

oud solo by Abdulwahed Alkhamrah  a musical event will feature a set of classical Arabic and turkish pieces in several classical oriental forms such as semai, peshrev and longa, as well as improvisation and taksims.  our one-hour concert will include selected pieces from the ottoman era as well as the early 20th century and introduce compositions from syria, turkey and egypt.  some of the composers featured include :  -tanburi cemil bey -sedat oztabrak -muallim ismail haki bey -refik fersan -riyad elbandak
