Lauren O'Connor is a self-taught film photographer, She Co-founded Low Light Darkroom. Since 2013, she has been able to build an affordable, collective darkroom facility in Oakland. 
She spent a residency in arthereistanbul in 2017. In her time here, she explored the various socioeconomic profiles of people in the context of Istanbul.
