Léa Roch was born in 1991 in France. Upon graduating from Villa Arson, French National School in Visual Arts in 2016, she founded the artist-run space called IVECO NU in the Parisian suburb of Noisy-Le-Sec. IVECO NU features studio space for 13 artists and holds one-off events. Her research is constantly on the move and focuses on how to apprehend comprehension systems in a critical approach to seriousness. She uses mainly installation and sculpture (notably metal) but also video, photo, and painting. Her works were shown in various group shows in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In 2018, she had a solo show in Canada after a 3 months residency at l'Oeil de Poisson, Québec.
