Nikos Dervisis is a musician, artist, and graphic designer based between London, Istanbul, and Athens. In his work, he is studying current, as well as centuries-old cultural characteristics, overlaps, and traces of multiculturalism in the Balkans and the Middle East as well as their relationship with contemporary global culture.
His latest EP “Akθάλασσαإيقاعات” (‘Mediterranean Sea Rhythms’ in Turkish, Greek, and Arabic) was released in 2020 by the Belgian record label Eclipse Tribez. During his residency at arthere he created the 30-page book “Downloads folder re-arrangement”. As a designer he has worked with Netflix, OnePlus, Root Radio, and Radio Flouka.
